i like giving kase time with laughts and raf as this is where i see him if he does get a call up. I could also see them put stewart on this line for further assessment. |

If they think Stewart is a realistic option, he should be playing every game. |

If they think Stewart is a realistic option, then buckle up because we are in for a longggg season. |

It will be a longgg season because he's a realistic option for the fourth line? |

If Stewart's on the 4th-line, that means one or more of Pitlick, Raffl and/or Laughton are in the top-9... |

I'd be okay with him as the 13F, the short-term injury replacement. |

I haven't been able to watch a lot of the pre season but what I have seen, I haven't been impressed. Vigneualt has made some positive comments about him though. I would want any veteran depth forward to have more versatility than Stewart offers. |

I have zero issue with Laughton in the top 9 on the 3rd line. Personally until one of the younger kids are ready, that's where I want him any way.

Not sure if this is a well-known thing or what, but it was the first time I heard it. Has anyone else heard this story that Kevin Hayes's dad was kidnapped by people in Whitey Bulger's crew? I just heard it yesterday, pretty crazy. |

I think Laughton stays as 4C. I'd be fine with Laughton centering Pitlick and Stewart/Raffl on the 4th line. |

He'll be the 3C unless Patrick gets over his problem soon.
NAK is a much better option for 4RW than Stewart. His legs are gone at age 32, just like Gagne. Yes I know he's not quite 32 yet. |

My thought train as well. Also, i'd be concerned that the mentality that "chooses" a Stewart bleeds into other decision making. Like over playing Braun if it proves out he is really just a pair 3 guy, etc.
We all saw on here how Hak got continually roasted for making the "veteran leadership" type decisions...I just don't want to read that all day, every day, ad nauseam let alone watch it on the ice. Not saying that is going to happen but if Stewart is anything other than 13th forward, I'll have it in the back of my mind.

Jimmy made a comment on spittin chiclets, that's why I looked into it. He was telling some story and made a comment like "you know who my dad is? you know who he knows, right?" i'll find the link.

I don't hate Laughts, but he's ideally 4C on a team with any hope of making a PO run. |
